  The waiter was amazing, giving tips about the local area and places to go.
  
  The food was lovely and we enjoyed it, although we wouldn’t go out of our way to visit it again, it’d only be if we were in the area.
  
  Definitely would recommend dropping in if your are visiting the gorge

  5star view and 2 star vegetable soup. Pies is tasty. My Chai Latte is lacking of something I can’t put my finger on it.Overall not bad.

  It's been awhile since my wife and I had a meal there and usually it's fantastic but the menu has changed the prices gone up the plate size gone down the food quality has gone out the window. I'm thinking someone need to hire a new chief.

  The seven of us all had fantastic meals. The highlight was probably the beef cheeks - tender and very tasty. The setting is beautiful but it's a walk down from the carpark (and back up at the end!). It's pricey at around $40/main but perfect for a special occassion.

  This place is amazing! Best service, best ambience and the best food ever! It's not easy for me to dine out because of food intolerances but it was beautiful here and the staff were exceptionally helpful. Would give 10 stars if i could

  The food was great we had beef cheek and crispy skin duck.
  Atmosphere was great however service was a bit lax. There was only 2 other tables and our food took ages to arrive plus they forgot our drink for 15 minutes.

  One of Launceston's best kept secrets!
  My wife and I recently visited The Gorge for a mid-week, mid winter, romantic dinner treat.
  Only ourselves and one other couple in the restaurant! (Giving us all front row seats around the warming log fire...)
  We went for the Winter Special menu (three courses), drinks and a bottle of wine, all for under $180. Good value.
  Every dish was a delight, perfect winter comfort food.
  Service was excellent, with prompt service of food (as you would expect with only four customers!).
  We parked on the Trevallyn side of the Gorge, giving us a short, well lit walk to the restaurant.
  My only question is why there weren't more customers enjoying such a great venue?
  We'll be back, for sure!

  A lovely meal in beautiful surrounds. Some classic menu items executed well. Service was a little slower than expected, but worth the wait
